Changing Second Profession?
Hi, I've a couple of questions about changing second profession after Ascension.
1. Do I gain a SP back for each skill I lose if I change second profession, or do the Skill Quests become available again (I haven't spent any SP's on 2nd Profession, but have a lot of skills from doing Quests)? 2. If not, will I be able to earn enough to SP's to get all skills for both jobs if I changed and wanted to, I mean is there a cap on SP's or do you keep earning? It seems to be I keep earning but I thought I'd ask. Thx for reading Last edited by Zebideedee; Nov 27, 2007 at 12:58 PM // 12:58.. |

You don't loose the skills you have when you change secondary professions. For example, lets say that your 2nd profession was monk and you had 20 monk skills. After a while you decided to change to elementalist. You now only have access to elementalist skills and your primary profession. When you decide to change back to monk as secondary, the 20 monk skills you previously had will become available in your skill list again.
Yes you will always have enough skill points available to you. To my knowledge there is no cap on skill points. I went over 200 and the numbers are still rising. Maybe it stops at something like 999 but never had that much skill points. |

I would suggest you change your secondary to all availible. While in Factions and Nightfall it does cost you 500g the first time its free after that and in Prophicies you just need to complete a quest for each secondary.
Once you change your secondary some quests will become availible for you in prophicies for your new proff that reward you skills. This is a great way to get some free skills for your char, another would be to use Hero Skill trainers as any skill you train your heros is learned by your char as well. |

If you play Prophecies:
- You can do all the secondary profession-Quests - You can switch between all secondary professions as often as you wish - Just press K. In the upper right corner of that window you can choose If you play Nightfall: - You have to buy your secondary profession for 500g/each - Once you bought all secondaries (not neccessary, just buy the ones you want to use. You can always go back there and buy the other ones) you can switch between them like I described above |

You can change your secondary as often as you like once you unlock each prof in the campains.
Once you aquire skills for a secondary prof they are always there, ie if you change from ranger secondary to monk then back to ranger all the ranger skills you had will still be available. |

The line's put there by mods so it's easier to tell when you're halfway. They're really common.
